Will the best quarterback in the state be enough to carry Fayetteville to a championship? That might win a state title in Class 3A. But in 7A- West - where even the best can get pummeled by the worst if they're not focused - the most apt signal caller might get you a Sonic Team of the Week award but no conference title and certainly no state championship.
