Building partnerships : New program provides business and education mentors, tutors for children

CEO and President of Wal-Mart International Doug McMillan spoke at the Partners in Education kickoff event held by the Bentonville-Bella Vista Chamber of Commerce at the Peel House in Bentonville on Tuesday. The Partners in Education program is designed to pair businesses with individual schools in order to build a strong relationship between the community and the school district.

The saying goes that time is money, but for a young student, time can be even more valuable than money.
