Dillard's beats analysts' outlook
2nd-quarter loss at $26.7 million after cost-reduction measures

Trimming costs again helped Little Rock-based Dillard's Inc., as the retailer beat analysts' expectations Monday by reporting a loss of $26.7 million for its fiscal second quarter.
