Deputies hope Fort Smith woman has answers in burning incident

Sebastian County sheriff 's deputies are trying to determine the circumstances that led to a Fort Smith woman being doused with gasoline and set on fire Aug. 9, possibly by her boyfriend. Petrina Mendez remains in the burn unit at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock, where her condition has improved from critical to serious.
