Crystal Bridges lands new director
Bacigalupi has held top posts at several art museums

Alice Walton introduced Don Bacigalupi as the new director of the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art on Monday at the Arvest Conference Center in Bentonville. Bacigalupi, who succeeds Bob Workman as director of the museum, will begin work in late October.
People tend not to forget a name like Don Bacigalupi. But it was obvious Monday during Alice Walton's introduction of him as the new director of the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art that she's confident he'll soon be recognized for more than his unique name.
