100 YEARS AGO August 17, 1909 G.H. Wells, one of the assistants of Cass Gilbert, the architect for the new state capitol, is expected to arrive here today with the plans and specifications for the building, which will be submitted to the commission at a meeting which has been called for Thursday by Governor Donaghey.
