MADISON COUNTY: Honesty powers produce stands

George Thomas runs a produce stand on Arkansas 74 near Wesley in Madison County, one of at least two produce stands in east Madison County operating on the honor system.
For 30 years, a five-gallon bucket served as the till at a produce stand operated by Jay Moffett and George Thomas about 3 miles east of Wesley on Arkansas 74.
