A thank you note
An explanation to our friends

MAMA ALWAYS said to write a letter of thanks when appropriate. And whenever an editorialist is given grist for comment, thanks is certainly appropriate. So today let us thank Robert Bayne of Mountain Home. His letter, published on the opposite page last Wednesday, may have been the most read item in that day's paper. It was certainly the most discussed around this outfit.
