100 YEARS AGO August 15, 1909 The State Capitol Commission has been called to meet Thursday, at which time Cass Gilbert of New York, the architect, or his representatives, will be here, and the commission will arrange the details for active construction work on the building and also elect a successor to Lehman Kay as secretary of the commission.
