Grant to counter plunge in milk cost
Payments will go to 140 producers

The chairman of the Arkansas Dairy Stabilization board said Friday that he's hopeful that the state's first stabilization grant payment will keep dairy farmers from selling off their herds as has occurred in surrounding states.
