Stimulus hiring will later expand state obligations
Benefits fund deficit to increase when most jobs end in two years

The $2.16 billion that Arkansas receives from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act will spur hiring in the state, but two years from now, when a majority of the temporary jobs end, it will cost the state more for unemployment benefits, a state representative said Wednesday.
