ROGERS — The run will start at 7:50 a.m. Aug. 29, at Lake Atalanta Park in Rogers. The course will start midway around the west side of Lake Atalanta; 5K participants will circle the lake once, then out of the park, up the Eliminator Hill (Walnut) and finish in historic downtown Rogers.

The preregistration deadline is Aug. 26. Late registration and check-in will begin at 6:45 a.m., and check-in will be in the park near the boathouse. Preregistration is encouraged to reserve an event T-shirt.

The entry fee is $15 for adults and includes a Tshirt and goody bag while the supply lasts. On the day of the race, the fee will be $20. The entry fee for students 13 years old and younger is $7 in advance and $10 the day of the race, and includes a T-shirt, while the supply lasts.

Finish-line refreshments and prize drawings will follow the race. Winners will be announced from the main stage.

There will be men's and women's 5K divisions in each of the following age groups: 12 and younger; 13-14; 15-16; 17-18; 19-25; 26-30; 31-35; 36-40; 41-45; 46-50; 51-55; 56-60; 61-65; 66-69; and 70 plus.
