Fate of mural in limbo with deck razing looming

The "lovely mural," on the east wall of the Washington County Courthouse parking deck in Fayetteville, is in danger of being demolished in the next few months as demolition of the deck is set to begin at the end of the month. Residents are working with the county to find a way to save it.
For the past decade, a "lovely" piece of local artwork has sat cradled on the east side wall of the Washington County Courthouse parking deck. Now the question is what will happen next with that mural as the parking deck is just weeks away from demolition.
