Mayor Tim McKinney will remain in the Carroll County Jail to serve his Washington County term and will pay the jail $35 a day.

Carroll County Sheriff Bob Grudek says McKinney asked to remain in the Carroll County Jail.

Grudek says McKinney has been a respectful inmate and he expects him to be released Friday.
