Ozark Album Train gang

A section gang performs maintenance on the Muskogee Subdivision of the Frisco Railroad near Prairie Grove in this circa 1920 photo. The only worker identified is William Mattison on the far right. The Muskogee Subdivision, which ran from Fayetteville to Okmulgee, Okla., was built in 1902 as the Ozark Central and Cherokee Railway.
