Superintendent says relationship with Johnson not strained

Fayetteville Public Schools Superintendent Vicki Thomas said she did not ask Dick Johnson to resign, but when asked Friday if the departing assistant superintendent and athletics director had the option of remaining, her answer became more circumspect.
