Clinton works to mend South Africa ties

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton sought Friday to improve strained relations with South Africa, the continent's economic powerhouse, with the two sides agreeing to cooperate more closely on issues including climate change and the turmoil in Zimbabwe.
