Since escape, prison closing some gaps

Arkansas Board of Corrections member Mary Parker beside him Thursday, board Chairman Benny Magness said he is satisfied with prison officials' response to a recent Cummins Unit escape.
In response to the escape of two murderers from the Cummins Unit near Grady, the prison has stopped producing guard uniforms there, established an additional checkpoint for officers leaving work and removed inmates' access to color printers, officials with the Arkansas Department of Correction said Thursday.
