Young Professionals Business After Hours

The Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce will hold a Young Professionals Business After Hours from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Hooters in Fayetteville. Beverages and hors d'oeuvres will be served.

2009 Education Expo

The Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce will host the annual Education Expofrom 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Randal Tyson Track Center. The chamber expects approximately 750 Fayetteville School District teachers and administrators to attend. Call the chamber at 521-1710 for more information.

Saturday, Aug. 15 Northwest Arkansas PC User Group

The Northwest Arkansas Personal Computer User Group will meet at 1 p.m. in Suites 217, 219 and 221 of the Education and Computer Center in the north wing ofthe Jones Center for Families in Springdale. The program will be Printmaster - a doit-yourself sign, card and calendar program. The public is invited. Visitors are always welcome without charge or obligation. Tuesday, Aug. 18 Rural Friendship Development Day

The Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce will hold RuralFriendship Development Day. The group will meet at Farm Bureau at 8:30 a.m., leave at 9 a.m., visit Hiland Dairy from 9:15-10:30 a.m., visit the Herman Jones farm from 10:40-11:45 a.m. and have lunch from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Lunch will be provided at the Jones farm, and all the ingredients used in the lunch will come from the farm. Lunch will be $10 and will be donated to the 4-H Foundation. RSVP by calling the chamber at 521-1710 or e-mailing [email protected]. Deadline for reservations is Friday, Aug. 14.
