Reading-ready in Gravette

'Paws for Literacy' cooks up success for students

Tabitha Curlin, 9, placed cookies for the ears on her Mouse Creams as Millie Bramel, 9, giggled in the background at Glen Duffy Elementary School in Gravette on Wednesday morning. The special-treat project was a part of the school's reading program.

Bryce Romine enjoyed preparing a variety of foods the last two weeks during a program sponsored by the Gravette School District. He especially enjoyed eating the food, he said.
