Grant preferred for highway
Driver tolls would fund only half of proposed bypass at Bella Vista

If Arkansas isn't awarded an economic stimulus grant to build the Bella Vista bypass, the state will not begin the process of financing and building it as a toll road, a spokesman for the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said Wednesday.
