Hunter-education class offered

On Aug. 15, the Benton County Chapter of Quail Unlimited will host its annual hunter-education course. The 10-hour class with start at 8 a.m. No preregistration is required, but sign-in will be at 7:30 a.m. The class, taught by hunter-education professionals, is open to anyone; however, it is recommended that students be at least 11 years old, since all training material is based on a fifth-grade understanding level. There is no charge for the class. Lunch and soft drinks will be provided.
