83 Chinese charged in July's ethnic riots

Authorities have arrested 83 people on charges including murder and arson in last month's deadly rioting in the western region of Xinjiang, which saw Muslim Uighurs attack members of China's dominant Han ethnic group, state media reported Tuesday.
