Citizens should decide what they want from recycling efforts

Hidden deep in the bowels of the city's Web site are the results of a $110,700 study agreed to by the Fayetteville City Council in April 2008. Compiled by R.W. Beck, the purpose of what was described as a seven-month study approximately 16 months ago was an in-depth examination of the city's recycling program. It's all right there on the city's portion of the Internet, and it's worth reading for anyone interested in the community's efforts to be conscientious stewards of resources.
