Coalition of TEA Parties sets rallies

BENTON COUNTY Arkansas TEA (Taxed Enough Already) Parties will participate in "recess rallies" across the nation at noon Aug. 22, the Arkansas United Web site states.
Scheduled while Congress is in recess and members are away from Washington, D.C., and in their home districts for district work periods, the rallies are to be held at the local (in-district) offices of members of the House of Representatives, according to the Web site.
The rallies are to send a message to federal legislators that the people of Arkansas "do not want national health care," the Web site states.
The Web site lists in-district office addresses and contact numbers for Arkansas' members of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Late last month, more than 100 Benton County residents met in Rogers and formeda Benton County TEA Party chapter.
The grassroots TEA Party movement is dedicated to promoting smaller, more fiscally responsible government and greater personal responsibility, organizers said then.
