The Arkansas Public Service Commission has rejected a request to reconsider its approval of plans by Southwestern Electric Power Co. to build a $1.3 billion coal-fired power plant in southwest Arkansas.

Bobby Petrino was introduced as the University of Arkansas' 30th head football coach late Tuesday evening, less than six hours after resigning from his head coaching duties with the Atlanta Falcons.
