Arkansas special projects and programs
This data reflects special state projects and programs identified by the Arkansas Legislature and Gov. Mike Beebe that are eligible to receive surplus state funds in the 2014 fiscal year. The $1.7 billion appropriated, or authorized, far exceeds the $172 million the executive and legislative branches will actually split. The $70 million in projects identified by the Legislature will be funded. The governor will have to choose how to spend the $102 million he receives.
