STAFF PHOTO MARC F. HENNING Josh Button of Pea Ridge jumps Wednesday, July 20, 2011, into Little Sugar Creek from the Lake Bella Vista Trail bridge in Bentonville as his friends look on. Dozens of local residents spent the afternoon at the popular swimming spot doing their best to stay cool in the triple-digit heat. Today's temperatures are forecasted to again reach the century mark. The City of Bentonville has signs posted at the approaches to the bridge that read "Danger: Shallow Water Do Not Jump From Bridge."
