The image of Santa Claus has been influenced by immigrants from England and the Neatherlands, as well as the tradition of St. Nicholas, the poem by Clement Moore, and the sketch by Thomas Nast. These changes in the image of Santa Claus will be the focus of a new exhibition at the Rogers Historical Museum. Here Comes Santa Claus will be on display in our historic Hawkins House. The guided tours of this special exhibition will begin on Sunday, November 30 as the museum will be open for our traditional Holiday Open House from 12:30 to 4 p.m. November 30, 2014 to January 4, 2015 322 South Second, corner of Second and Cherry in the Rogers Historic District Free Admission, open 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday
