Activities include new art exhibits, art gallery receptions, great shopping and live music. New art exhibit openings and receptions hosted by ddp gallery and The Fayetteville Underground will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
In addition, East Square Plaza will present
a free acoustic showcase featuring local musicians Effron White, Virginia Avenue, Stephen Floyd & Alex Flippin.
The East Square Plaza will also have tables set up in the lobby to receive donations for the Mayor’s WE CAN food drive and the Fayetteville Animal Shelter Pet Food drive. The Animal Shelter will also be providing some First Thursday participants of the furry variety, available for adoption.
Many of the businesses around the square area will also offer extended hours, activities and specials
during First Thursday. To ease parking needs, the paid parking lot next to the East Square Plaza building (to the east) will be open for FREE parking on Thursday night.
