Gilbert Baker, who resigned as executive assistant to the UCA president on April 2, 2014, after a company he founded was linked to Fort Smith businessman Michael Morton’s support for Circuit Judge Michael Maggio’s appeals-court campaign. The FBI is investigating donations that Maggio’s campaign accepted from political action committees funded almost entirely by Morton and his companies.
