State Hospital complaint recertification letter
The government-funded Disability Rights Center of Arkansas has filed a complaint about the State Hospital in the aftermath of a critical report on the treatment of children that site reviewers identified as threatening to the life and health of patients. The Center wants the hospital closed. A letter from Center for Medicaid and Medicare Services dated April 22 says the hospital will lose its Medicare funding June 2.
