Walmart Announces Acquisition of Digital Entertainment Provider, VUDU

Walmart announced Monday a definitive agreement to acquire VUDU, Inc., a leading provider of digital technologies and services that enable the delivery of entertainment content directly to broadband high-definition TVs and Blu-ray players. The deal is expected to close within the next few weeks.

Scott Street named CEO

Scott M. Street has been named president and CEO for Mercy Health System of Northwest Arkansas, effective March 8. Street succeeds George Flynn, who will transition fulltime into the role of senior vice president–performance improvement for the Sisters of Mercy Health System, the sponsoring organization of Mercy in Northwest Arkansas. Flynn has held both his new role and the CEO position since June 2009.
