After countless mystery box, team and skills challenges, Masterchef will end its eighth season with a two-hour finale at 7 p.m. Wednesday on Fox.
The competition series started with 40 home cooks who've gone through a series of elimination rounds to narrow the field down to the last three. In the finale, the cooks will each prepare a three-course meal with ingredients of their choosing. When the burners are off and the smoke has cleared, one contender will walk away with the Masterchef trophy, a cookbook deal and a check for $250,000.
On hand will be host and judge Gordon Ramsay, and this season's other judges, chefs Christina Tosi and Aaron Sanchez. Chef Joe Bastianich will be a guest judge.
